F1 weekend lacking in enthusiasm

From me at least.

Why? It’s become all about the result.

McLaren are fastest around Montreal. Lewis owns the track.

The only way that he won’t pole + race-win is if some freak of luck or bad luck happens.

And for the 2011 season to mean anything he really needs to pick up 25 points – and preferably for the kid in the fastest RB7 to, for once, have less than great luck for one race this season.

Then at least we have a sport on our hands.

So the ‘build up’, the analysis, the chit-chat, really doesn’t hold any excitement. It’s about getting on the track and letting the result speak for itself.
